Beautiful LALIQUE Crystal AMBER COLOUR powder box, trinket or candy dish. The dish is square and is thick, as is the lid.

The Lalique "Mirabel" Gypsy Moths Powder Box was designed by Marie-Claude Lalique (Renés granddaughter) in 1989. It is no longer in production.

Marie-Claude, inspired by her familys preoccupation with the feminine mystique, conceived a toilette set
decorated with butterflies. Four stylized gypsy moths form the body of the bottles and the powder box cover.
The ample motifs and the elegant use of crystal summon visually and sensually the soft and supple contours
of the insect. Marie-Claude named her design Mirabel, after a village in Provence where the twilight of
summer is born.

Marked on the underside with Etched Makers Mark - Lalique ® France and has the original four felt pad feet which prevent scratches to the base.
